The brief
Badminton Wales are the National Governing Body for Badminton in Wales. They are committed to ensuring that badminton is accessible for all players across the country, from grassroots players to high performance. They offer membership at various levels, support and training across Wales.
Due to an issue with their supplier their website had to be migrated to a new platform with a CMS (Content Management System) that is easily editable by their staff.
Solution
A new WordPress based website was created, with the design and content of the site duplicating the original site as closely as possible. We were however able to make the navigation and interface more user-friendly and faster than the original.
The site is adaptive, i.e. smartphone friendly. It features interactive maps enabling users to find coaches across Wale, plus three response forms.
The site was developed and is hosted on our server.
Schedule
Work began on 9th May 2022 and the website was launched on 9th September 2022.
