The brief
Design a booklet to communicate the work of The Governance and Institutional Development Division (GIDD) to government ministers, civil servants, partners and organisations across The Commonwealth.
The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 53 independent and equal sovereign states. It is home to 2.2 billion citizens, of which over 60 are under the age of 30. The Commonwealth includes some of the world’s largest, smallest, richest and poorest countries, spanning five regions. Thirty-one of its members are small states, many of them island nations.
The Commonwealth Secretariat provides guidance on policy making, technical assistance and advisory services to Commonwealth member countries. They support governments to help achieve sustainable, inclusive and equitable development.
GIDD provides technical assistance to build and sustainably develop the capacity of public, private and civil society institutions, which have responsibilities to the public.
Solution
We designed a new 16 page A5 booklet with an integral pocket for extra materials. The booklet was printed onto uncoated environmentally friendly paper to emphasise the respectful, caring and responsible message.
All text and images were provided by the client in this instance.
The booklet was distributed across Commonwealth countries.
